UR Records è orgogliosa di presentare “Ricercare”, il nuovo disco di Daniele Di Bonaventura. Un album che vede il grande bandoneonista jazz marchigiano (collaboratore di artisti del calibro di Paolo Fresu, Miroslav Vitous e Uri Caine tra gli altri) alle prese con il Clavicordo, strumento pre-barocco risalente al XIV secolo.
L’opera è costituita da una serie di “ricerche” musicali nelle quali Di Bonaventura esplora le inconsuete caratteristiche sonore di uno strumento il cui utilizzo ha pochissimi precedenti nell’ambito della musica jazz: il più importante è indubbiamente quello di Keith Jarrett coni lo suo “Book of Ways” album pubblicato nel 1987 per ECM.
Di Bonaventura con le sue composizioni crea un piccolo mondo antico che, attraverso il linguaggio dell’improvvisazione jazzistica, si sviluppa attraverso sentieri musicali ispirati da un lato al minimalismo novecentesco e dall’altro alla commistione della tradizione afroamericana con il bel canto della musica colta europea.
